Lecture Series: Aurora Museum
Following the inauguration of The Making of A Museum, an Arthub and Aurora Museum collaboration, a series of lectures will take place over the next four months. The seven participating artists who took part in the contemporary group exhibition will be speaking; additionally participating is Francesco Vezzoli, who will be arriving in Shanghai in two weeks, in conjunction with his commissioned work to be projected on the outside of the Aurora Museum.

The Aurora Museum hopes to provide a new format of discussion–encouraging the public to become active participants in a continuative dialogue towards shaping the future of their contemporary museum and collection. The artistic interventions recently created are meant to reinterpret the antiques collection found at the Aurora Museum. The lectures will go a step further, by verbally analyzing the role and identity of the museum itself.
