Art In The City Talk Program
As a special project of this year’s Art In The City Festival Arthub has collaborated with AITC on BLAST!. By opening the call to everyone, not just limiting its reach specifically to artists and professionals from the creative world, BLAST! wishes to explore the accessibility of digital media. The Open Call examines how the intersection between accessibility and artistic intention affects contemporary digital art in Asia.
To explore ideas inherent in the BLAST! Open Call Arthub has organized a series of talks to coincide with the Art In The City Festival at chi K11 art space. The open call winners will be present the first day of the talks to expand upon the intentions and techniques behind their works, followed by panels discussing alternative art spaces and publishing in a post-net era.
