Arthub Favorite: Week 28

Spicy, bitter, sweet, crispy… what snacks bring you a bit of extra pleasure? Flavors that your main courses just aren’t giving you? An unexpected, delectable snack is the cherry on a sundae–it’s an extra life bonus. Arthub realizes the pleasure that snacks can bring, which is why we recommend the upcoming exhibition at PSA this weekend: SNACKS.

Duration: July 16 – October 16, 2016
Venue: Power Station of Art

Free admission

Art is snacks, life is the main course

SNACKS《零食》 is a publicly launched magazine, established by artists and designers. Since launching in 2009 it has cooperated with more than 200 artists.

The exhibition SNACKS is a presentation of un-sortable artists and their un-sortable works of art. It gathers abnormal thoughts, experiments, and experiences of artists (with varying life styles) from every corner of the world. It shouts out formations and embraces impromptu action, in order to help us recall the memory of festivals. Participating artists will create artworks based on public life, their own real world experiences and memories created during their residencies.
