About artwork

Arthub is glad to present artist Li Ming’s 5-chapter video work “Inspiration”, The Chinese title ” yan shi pi li chun” is a transliteration of the English word “inspiration” when Chinese language was introduced with this word in about a century ago during the New Culture Movement. Thus, we can tell the 5-chapters are inspired by different objects, such as imagination, childhood memories, or some clips from a classic movie.

The online screening is available here, with artist’s explanation of each chapter.
