Arthub Collaboration with artist Chen Zhou

A New Production for Shenzhen Sculpture Biennale

Time: May 12th to August 31st, 2012
Location: OCT Contemporary Art Terminal, Shenzhen, China

Arthub Asia is happy to announce a collaboration with Chen Zhou. His new work is divided into four parts; each part is linked together by small clues and subtle connections. Chen Zhou has created a discussion and interpretation of power systems among people. Egocentrism, nihilism and submission are represented by three men, all with hidden distortions, fears and psychological frailties. The production is a metaphor for the human condition—where sexuality is played by the characters portrayed as a tool and symbol of their reason of existence or, on the opposite, of decay.

The work will be premiered at the Shenzhen Sculpture Biennale next month.

This production marks the first formal collaboration between Arthub Asia and Aike Gallery, Shanghai/Palermo.
