Arthub and Zhu Xiaowen Residency: 40+4 at ZKM

ZKM invited Arthub and Zhu Xiaowen to a residency at their headquarters in Germany.

The result is a Panorama Screen version of 40+4, Art is Not Enough! Not Enough!, produced at ZKM | Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe by Berned Lintermann and Xiaowen Zhu.

Panorama Screen is a special cylindrical projection environment; the Panorama Technology provides an innovative display system. It consists of a specially developed software system for displaying imagery on the screen–Panorama Display Software.

The Panorama Screen presentation of 40+4 will apply media footage of 40 interviews into an interactive installation. Surrounded by the cylindrical surface of the Panorama Screen the user is faced with a huge database of interview content. By a special method of interaction viewers can select different content according to their interest.
