Chongming Contemporary Art Park “Summer Night Screening”

On May 27, Quxiang Park in Chongming Island will open. MadeIn Company will host an art party at night for a summer get away. Screening of important video archive will be presented with food.

About the screening:

“Shanghai Contemporary Art Archive Research Project After 1998” as a not-for-profit archival project, has gathered a whole generation of artists’ memory and history vision. The documentary is consists of 3 chapters: BizArt Center, artists’ curatorial practice, and Art-Ba-Ba, focusing on the topic of “contemporary art eco-system after 1998”. It illustrates this very important, yet not very often mentioned history, rethink the development of Shanghai and China contemporary art. This screening is its first time been presented after Guggenheim NYC and Bilbao.

About Quxiang Park

It is a park of contemporary art, located in the Xianghua Town in the northest of Chongming Island. The park was established by Xu Zhen, Fang Wei and Yin Ru, will be opened to the public on May 27, 2018. The park occupies more than 100,000 meter squared, with lake, wet land, horse ranch, and exhibition areas.
