Arthub in Cape Town Art Fair 2016

South African followers – Arthub joins you this week in Cape Town!

The 4th edition of Cape Town Art Fair runs February 19-21, taking you on a 3 day tour of the African continent.

Join Arthub Director and Founder Davide Quadrio Saturday, February 20th from 15:30 to 16:30 at CTICC, where he will moderate a discussion on the geopolitics of China’s engagement with Africa, departing from the pivotal 1955 Asia-Africa Conference in Bandung and its cultural agenda.

Cross Cultural Encounters, Post Colonialism and Appropriation in the Age of Artistic Mobility

A conversation with Daan Roggeveen, Dabing Chen, and Ruth Simbao, which attempts to introduce a new world vision of former colonial countries acting between and amongst themselves. Today, more than 50 years after the Bandung Conference, this vision is more relevant than ever, as the economic and political dominance of the West fades into history.
