“The 6th Gwangju Biennale 2006: Asian Art Forum” takes place as a part of the Festival for ‘A Culture Hub City of Asia, Gwangju.’ Thematically related to the concept of the Gwangju Biennale 2006, this forum will deal with issues on Asian discourses and aesthetics in search of a new Asian identity. Furthermore, it will discuss a possibility of global networking in Asian art and realization of a communal vision in the global culture. This forum will be an opportunity to further refine the exhibition concept of the Biennale and also to share discussions of Asian issues.
