Kim Sunjung was Chief Curator at the Art Sonje Center (Seoul) and Art Sonje Museum (Kyungju) from 1993 until 2004; currently a professor in the school of visual arts at the Korean National University of Arts. A Seoul-based independent curator who works internationally, she organized Tomorrow, a group exhibition of 31 Korean and foreign artists at the Kumho Museum and Art Sonje Center in October 2007. She also founded the annual contemporary art festival Platform Seoul (launched October 2007), the second staging of which, titled  Between Art and Spectacle will be held in 2008.
