Upon the offer of ShContemporary Art Fair, Arthub created a tiny hospitality center area to host informal gatherings, and book presentations.
September 10, 2 pm - Zhao Chuan, an art historian from Shanghai, talks about his book on the “Birth of Avantgarde in Shanghai.”
September 11, 2 pm - Shanghai-based Curator Biljana Ciric launches and talks about her book “Rejected Collection” with CHARTA.
September 12, 2 pm - Birdhead (artists Song Tao and Ji Weiyu) on site to sign their limited-edition books.
September 13, 2 pm - Pippa Dennis presents the program for Asia Art Forum, an educational initiative for young collectors, art professionals and enthusiasts. AAF will provide a unique opportunity to understand the emergence and historical development of Chinese contemporary art, as well as issues pertaining to collecting and the complexities of the Chinese art market.
During the fair, ArtHub booth will host a series of performances by Ciboh, a three-girl-collective ( Silvia Barna, Natascia Fenoglio and Alessandra Pallotta) founded in 2003 in Milan, fusing art, design and daily life.
